Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana

• Annual benefits: The family covered under this scheme receives up to INR 3 lakhs every year as compensation for medical expenses on a Family Floater basis. 
• Transportation Cost: For every medical condition that requires hospitalization, MA Yojana offers INR 300 to cover the transportation cost as most of the beneficiaries are from rural areas where immediate transportation is a challenging and expensive affair. 
• Repatriation after death: In case of the demise of the insurer, the charge for bringing the mortal remains back home will be compensated as INR 6 for every kilometer. 
• Kidney Transplantation: The scheme offers up to INR 5 lakhs for transplantation of kidney, liver, and kidney + pancreas. 
• Coverage of major diseases: Major diseases that demand a huge amount for treatment and subsequent recovery are covered under this policy. The list includes Cardiovascular diseases, Renal issues, Neurological ailments, Hip & knee replacement surgeries (up to INR 40,000), Liver transplantation procedures (up to 5 lakhs), and so on. A total of over 600 diseases are covered under this scheme. 
• Quick Response cards to avoid discrepancies: Each beneficiary of this scheme will be given a card that is QR-coded and has biometric thumbprints, photos, and URN (Unique Registration Number) with the district and taluka details. 
• PMJAY benefits: The policy guarantees to provide the beneficiaries with all the benefits listed under PMJAY Scheme. 
• Completely free of cost: The beneficiaries need not pay any premium or registration charges. The scheme is completely funded by the Government. 
• Frequent medical camps: The scheme organizes Mega and General Medical camps in every district on monthly basis. The camps are coordinated by both private and Government enlisted hospitals. 
• Efficient health data storage: The health data of all the beneficiaries are carefully stored in exclusive data centers with dedicated servers. These data can be retrieved for future reference. 
• Hassle-free claims: The claims and other services are provided without any complicated paperwork. 
• Top-quality services: The services provided by the Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana scheme are recognized and accredited by the International Society of Quality Healthcare.
• Easy enrolment: Several kiosks have been set up at Civic centers and Talukas for the beneficiaries to facilitate easy enrollment and scheme modifications. 
• No middlemen: As this is not a regular insurance policy, middlemen are not involved in any process of the scheme. The benefit amounts are transferred directly to the beneficiaries by the State Government through RTGS mode.

Tax benefits: The MA Yojana scheme is given tax exemption up to INR 50,000 under section 80D of the Income Tax Act 1961.

The Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana provides comprehensive coverage against a wide range of diseases. Here is a table covering the diseases covered under the plan:

• No time frame: No particular time frame is stipulated in the scheme for enrollment and the beneficiaries can enroll themselves at any time in the scheme.
• Health cards in Gujarati: The details of the MA card that the beneficiaries need to fill in are printed in Gujarati for easy understanding of the rural people. • Extension of service to lower-middle-class families: The scheme was extended to include lower-middle-class families in the name of Mukhyamantri Amrutum Vatsalaya Yojana. MA Vatsalaya Yojana offers free medical treatment to those families that do not fall under BPL (Below Poverty Line).

1. Coverage of medical expenditures up to INR 5 lakhs per year for the beneficiary family.
2. Transportation expenses to the hospital are compensated with INR 300. 
3. Repatriation of mortal remains (in case of the beneficiary's death) for 6 rupees per km from the hospital to the beneficiary's home. 
4. All benefits listed under PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana are provided to the beneficiaries.
5. The coverage includes expenses of diagnosis, hospitalization, post-operative care, and travel. 
6. The employees under fixed pay of the State Government (Class 3 and Class $ employees), reporters, and rural & urban Social Health Activists recognized by the Government were included under this scheme in the financial year 2017-2018.

1. The coverage does not include non-emergency treatments and procedures.
2. Cosmetic surgery (plastic surgery), aesthetic procedures are not covered under this scheme.
